SIGNIFICANCE OF SULPHUR IN PLANTS

The Sulphur is the building block of vitamin H and B1. Cysteine and methionine is the component of amino acids. The Sulphur (S) speeds the growth and maturation of plants. In case of deficiency of Sulphur, the plants are smaller compared to the normal.
The deficiency of Sulphur slows the development, wriggles the leaves and makes them hard.
